Any given ‘form’ seeks a material to ply itself on. But for a moment to fossilize, to stand still – to create some sort of imprint – perhaps nothing more than a view or a memory can suffice.
Analog photography has its own unique processuality of crafting stories. Of gathering and assembling. Of making moments further available.
plumcloud.ro constitutes an archive inspired by the radioactive-chemistry of analog photography. By the plasticity that this medium offers, even at lo-res. Above all, it’s a project dedicated to eclecticism, and to the shattered-fluidity of passing moments.
Sometimes displaying a multispecies ethnography, on others, serving as a more broader representational testimony regarding an irreversibly changing planet, these imaginaries seek to ‘capture’ the concomitance of natural and human-hindered forces during their world-modelling work. Following thus the natural, political, cultural and (occasional) aesthetic superimpositions that – at any given moment – are building-up and tearing down the world.
Observe and enjoy your time!
